Competency Profiling
Job competence is an employee’s ability to meet or exceed his job’s requirements by producing outputs at an expected level of quality within your organization. Competencies are useful in developing more effective: Selection, Orientation, Training, Coaching, Performance Assessment and Evaluation, Career Development, and Succession Planning. It enables clearer expectations, more focused and efficient development, fairness in assessment and overall clear understanding of the capabilities of the workforce. We offer competency profiling in the following areas:

Job competency profiling- profiling based on the specific tasks of a particular job

Role competency profiling - profiling based on the part an individual employee plays in the organization's overall success

Functional/Technical competency profiling - profiling based on the skills required of an employee in a particular function of the business, e.g. marketing or finance

Core competency profiling - profiling based on the competencies that every employee should have in keeping with the overall values and vision of the organization
We will:

Assist you in defining the specific goals of the competency analysis whether the program is based on particular jobs, roles, technical/functional requirements or core organizational competencies.

Gather and analyze data to help you design a competency-based development program based on the end results that you require and the specific nature of the program.

Identify, develop and validate core organizational competencies to align employees with current and future business requirements.

Identify functional/technical competencies to enable employees to develop to meet specific job requirements. We will do this through interview/focus group, document analysis and literature review, and/or critical incident analysis.

Develop a strategy for assessment and communication planning.

Adapt your competencies for use in selection, orientation, training and development, performance reviews and employee development activities, developing the tools required for their effective use.

Build in a custom approach using your language and your specific business requirements.
